About D.A.D.

Mission Statement: Downtown Arts Development, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the creation, development, and production of unique and compelling artistic programming. By fostering the relationship between the artists and their audience, D.A.D. markets and promotes the work through the creation of festivals, concert series, and other media forms.

D.A.D. produces the annual Oyhoo Music Festival & Schmooze Conference (formerly The New York Jewish Music & Heritage Festival) every September, as well as the annual Downtown Seder.

D.A.D., through it’s President, Michael Dorf, has also founded Tribeca Hebrew. We are planning to spin off Tribeca Hebrew as a separate non-profit organization in the future.

D.A.D. also supports individual artists’ careers by assisting in the release of recording projects and their management.
