Laurie Kilmartin

Laurie was born and raised in a dull Northern California suburb. A former competitive swimmer (she swam for UCLA), Laurie made the switch from pool to stage in the early nineties during San Francisco’s comedy boom, and then headed for New York. In 2002, she became a staff writer for Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn.”

Laurie has performed on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend,” “The USO Tour,” “Shorties Watchin’ Shorties,” “Tough Crowd,” and “The World Stands Up.” She has been featured at comedy festivals in Montreal, Aspen and Edinburgh. She has also written for CBS’s “The Late Late Show” and Comedy Central’s “Too Late with Adam Carolla.”
